As a part of the brief, we were required to draw a series of the same image or pattern of our choice using different mediums. I have used a combination of wet mediums, print-making processes and even punctured the paper with a dry point etching tool.

A collection of photographs/photograms which have been individually scratched and punctured to create a drawn-like effect.

Above is a photograph which I have continued on with a pencil drawing, thus re-creating the other half of the image.

Above are a collection of landscapes which I had painted for assessment for Tafe. You may recognise these from the photos I had also uploaded onto this blog. These landscape paintings were in fact based from the photographs which I had taken previously.

A drawing I have made previously with the use of the filter effect in order to create a darker, moodier feel.

These are a couple of photograms I did in class. The first was the original photogram with a projection. The second was the photogram created as an acetate overlay with a magazine image also projected onto it during exposure.

Digital makeover

As always, I have chosen to make this work based around my haunted/owl theme. Above are two collages which I have made. The first, the owl makeover of me in a drawing of mine and the second in a landscape photograph I took.

Used graphite stick for this.

These photographs above are not for photography class as it may be suggested. These were pictures I had taken of the landscape around my backyard and neighbourhood for a new assignment for painting, which in turn required a painting of a landscape.

These were my best three that I had picked from many others I had taken, yet I had chosen the third one to be used for my painting instead.
